Pilates Mat Mixed Level
Pilates is our foundation at BALANCE! This class is the perfect environment to learn correct posture, technique and breathing right from the start while you enjoy benefits of a fabulous workout. This class develops muscle tone, core strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and more efficient patterns of movement. This class is customized to those in attendance, so everyone is welcome. However, we strongly recommend an introductory private session prior to attending your first mat class (particularly with injury, weight, pre-natal, or other concerns). Mat classes may include props: small balls, magic circles, rollers, and light hand weights. Take what you learn from this class to enhance your daily lifestyle routine and/or your sport. The workout is done in bare feet or grip socks, and please wear a fitted top so the instructor can see the alignment of your spine during your workout.
