Sunday 1pm, the digital Premiere of a heartwarming and uplifting story about the power of sport and how is helping to transform the lives of children from the Bronx - one of the most disadvantaged boroughs in New York City.

In 'A Bronx Tale', we see first-hand how the programme is helping the kids to realize their potential, not just athletically but personally and academically as well, building their confidence and self esteem.

In 1970, the International College of the Cayman Islands was founded as an institution of higher learning because of the suggestion of Bodden Town educator, Ms. Floris McCoy McField, the vision of Dr. J. Hugh Cummings along with his wife, Dr. Elsa, and the support of American Friends and Caymanian entrepreneurs, as an institution of lifelong learning.

Dr. Cummings created a scholarship fund because he wanted to ensure that all individuals would be afforded the opportunity to further their education.

In January 2000, Dr. Cummings passed away. In his memory we hold the annual Dr. J. Hugh Cummings’ Memorial Walk to raise scholarship funds.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and social distancing restrictions, we are unable to hold the walk this year. This is disappointing as this year marks ICCI’s 50th Anniversary and our students need support now more than ever. Students have lost their jobs, suffered pay cuts and some have even had to change careers due to industry collapse in this crisis.

In the spirit of the commitment made by Dr. J. Hugh Cummings those 50 years ago, we want to continue to make education accessible and hope that you will join us in our $50 for 50 challenge.

Although we are apart right now, united we are stronger. Please join us in keeping Dr. Cummings vision and legacy alive by helping ICCI provide quality education for another 50 years!

Wear your most spunky colorful socks on Saturday March 21st and get a chance to win a Raffle Prize!

Down’s Syndrome Awareness Week and World Down Syndrome Day are an amazing opportunity to challenge our society’s misconceptions about Down’s syndrome and to call for it to be more inclusive. Celebrate the achievements of people with Down’s syndrome, telling their

stories and amplifying their voices.
How can you help? By wearing lots of socks! But not just any socks wear brightly coloured, mis-matched socks. You can wear them at home, nursery, school, college, university, work, play, travel, on holiday, gym, at sports events, cinema, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing on 21 March.

How do I get entered  into the Raffle to win a prize:

1. Come and play squash wearing your funky  socks on Saturday  March 21st.

2. Bring a friend and play squash with you both wearing funky socks on Saturday March 21st and get two (2) entries into the raffle.

3. Take a picture in your funky socks at South Sound Squash Club, post and tag us (SSSC) on Facebook and Instagram
