Recognizing its universal appeal, on 11 December 2014, the United Nations proclaimed 21 June as the International Day of Yoga.


The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga.

The 2019 Olympic Day 5k Run/Walk will be held on Saturday June 22nd, starting 7am at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.


It is completely FREE of charge, but participants do need to register. Registration will be open from June 1st.


Represent your country by wearing costume and national colors or symbols


The Olympic Day 5K is a favorite for runners, joggers and walkers because it is a fun family-oriented 5k that is open to people of all ages and abilities.

Registration on the day is also possible from 6:15 to 6:45am, but please help us by registering online if you can.

The first Annual EnviroWalk Environmental 5K Walk / Run is to bring awareness to the environment and to encourage participants to make environmentally friendly life style choices.

Miss World Cayman Islands believes the Environment is very important to us and especially to our future generations and hopes to bring awareness to all residents of Cayman. Miss World CI also encourages a healthy lifestyle so this walk really aligns with what we are all about.

MWCI is a non-for-profit company who relies  on donations, sponsorships and fundraising. We are currently raising funds for our 2019 pageant which is scheduled for September. The swim distance increases each week whilst the run stays the same at 2 miles.

Participate in 1, 2 or 3 of the races - individually or as a team:

  • Race 1 - August 7th - 400m swim, 2 mile run - 5:45pm start
  • Race 2 - August 14th - 600m swim, 2 mile run - 5:45pm start
  • Race 3 - August 21sh - 800m swim, 2 mile run - 5:45pm start

Minimum age on race day is 13. Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

CI$ Entry Fees: Individuals: $15 per race / $35 all 3. Teams: $25 per race / $60 all 3. Triathlon Association Membership required. Available for $15 at registration.

Series Scoring: 10 Points are awarded to the 1st finisher in each category, 9 for the 2nd, 8 for the 3rd and so on until 1 Point for 10th place. Overall results are calculated by Total Points, and then by Total Time if all races have been completed. Awards (top 3 male, female and teams) and spot prizes: Awarded following the 3rd race.

An annual series of 2 mile fun runs usually held on the first 3 Saturdays in September.

2019 Dates: Saturday Mornings 7th, 14th and 21st September.

Start: 7:30am on Walkers Road, opposite former John Gray High School.

Route: A 2-mile loop beginning on Walkers Road opposite the former John Gray High School, then on to South Church Street before finishing on Denham Thompson Way.

Entry Fee: Under 15 FREE / CI$25 Whole Series / CI$10 single Race(s)

Divisions: M/F U12, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Pram & Pet. 

Awards and Scoring: Awards will be presented to the top 3 male and top 3 female point scorers overall in the series and also to the top 3 male and female scorers in each age group. Pet and Pram division awards are not based on gender. Overall award winners will not receive age group awards.

Points will be awarded each week to the first 10 male and 10 female finishers overall and also in each age group and Pet and Pram. In the case of ties in aggregate points by competitors in a category ,the award will be presented to the person who achieves the fastest time.

or register in person at each event between 6:30am and 7:15am.
