Join us on Saturday March 2nd 2019 for the CUC West Bay Sunrise 5k. Proceeds to the Sunrise Adult Training Centre.


Course: Starts and ends at Ristorante Pappagallo, Conch Point Road, West Bay


Start Time: 6:30am (Walkers) and 7am (Runners). Check-in time 5:30am (to receive numbers (all participants) and race chips (for runners)


Fee: CI$15 Adults and $10 Youths (Under 17)

  • Download PDF form from the event page timeline or CUC’s website at www.cuc-cayman.com. Complete, scan and e-mail the form to communications@cuc.ky 

  • Forms can be dropped-off and payments made by cash or cheque (payable to CUC) at CUC’s Customer Service Centre in the Administration Building on North Sound Road on weekdays between 8:30am and 4pm before Wednesday, February 27th.


No registration or payment on the day!


Amenities: First 250 participants will receive a t-shirt (sizes are not guaranteed) and all participants will receive a participation medal, bag, cap and water bottle following the event. Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the event.

Come and join us at the 9th annual 'Light Up the Night' Breast Cancer Beach Walk, on Saturday 2nd March 2019.


As those who have been on this walk before will know, it is a truly magical event, we stroll down Seven Mile Beach from Royal Palms to the Ritz-Carlton, where we usually enjoy a cold drink and a snack, then we walk back. Bring the whole family, dogs included!


Registration will be from 6pm on the night at Royal Palms and the walk will commence at 7pm.


Pre-Registration is available by downloading the form from our website at www.breastcancerfoundation.ky 


Entry is CI$25. All monies raised will be used to help breast cancer patients, survivors and spread awareness in our local communities here in Cayman and the Sister Islands.

CARE (Cayman Animal Rescue Enthusiasts) proudly present the 10th Annual CARE 5k K9 Dog Jog / Fun Run. Sunday March 3rd, 2019 at 7am, starting and finishing on Safehaven Drive.


Come join us and help us raise funds for our community spay / neuter campaign and welfare assistance. 


Route: Start on Safehaven Drive. Run around the golf course, left onto Crighton Drive, turn around near the Holiday Inn, and take the same route home.


Distance: 5 km / 3.1 miles


Registration: CI$25 includes t-shirt for the first 150 registrants, raffle tickets for prize draw, finish line snacks and doggie biscuits.


PLEASE NOTE: Only 1 dog permitted per entrant this year.


Awards: Top 3 Male and Female Runners, and Fastest Male and Female with Dog. Entry into Prize Draw for all finishers.


Please register online if you can at www.caymanactive.com/registrations or alternatively in person on Saturday 2nd March at Camana Bay Observation Tower from 10am to 3pm, or arrive early on the day for late registration from 6 to 6:30am.

A social and family orientated paddleboard event. A joint parent and kids’ paddle (under 14s only), a team corporate cup and an individual 1.5 mile sprint (all paddle vessels encouraged in the 1.5 sprint).

Sunday 10 March, from 8.30am at Public Beach, SMB.

Events: Parent and Kids: Half mile paddle. Entry $25 per team. Registration from 8.30am. Race starts 9am. Board hire available. Please bring life vests for the little ones. Parental supervision required. Corporate Cup: Relay teams of 4. Half mile paddle per team member. One board per team (boards provided). Must carry the same designated coconut the entire race to successfully finish. Entry $350 per team. Race starts 10am. Limited to 16 teams. 1.5m Sprint: All paddle vessels encouraged. $25 entry. Registration from 10.30am. 1.5 mile. Paddle Starts 11am. Board hire available.

Prizes for winners of each race event. Spot prizes also awarded to lucky participants. Corporate teams must register in advance. Contact coconutcupky@gmail.com to register corporate teams (limited to 16 team entries).

Early registration encouraged, but individual entries are available on the day.

Limited board hire is available at reduced prices from Liquid Life, Cayman Standup Paddleboard Company, 7 Mile Paddle and Whitesand Water sports.

All proceeds to benefit Hart for Hearts, the pediatric arm of the Cayman Heart Fund, which raises public awareness and provides financial assistance to families in Cayman when their child is born with a congenital heart defect.

850 MILLION PEOPLE WORLDWIDE are now estimated to have kidney diseases from various causes. Chronic kidney diseases (CKD) cause at least 2.4 million deaths per year and are now the 6th fastest growing cause of death.

With Cardiology as the theme our expert presenters from Baptist International, Cleveland Clinic, Holy Cross and Jackson Memorial, will discuss the latest achievements, scientific updates, new technology approaches and guidelines required to improve patient care.


The aim of the conference is to stimulate new ideas for treatment and analyze the current market for the future direction, and clinical uses of various techniques in the diagnosis, prognosis and management of common heart diseases.


Dr. Bella Beraha, International Symposium organizer and Vice Chair Person for the Cayman Heart Fund, looks forward to welcoming the medical community. As in past years the medical conference will provide the ideal forum to share novel ideas on crucial issues and trends in the area of cardiology.

The 27th Annual St. Patrick's Day 5K Irish Jog will take place on Friday, 15 March 2019 at 5:30pm at the Britannia Green Space.

The 3.1 mile course follows the cart path around the Britannia course and villas.

The entry fee is just CI$10 per person (US $12) and all proceeds raised from this year’s event will be donated to The Alex Panton Foundation.

The Jog, co-sponsored by Butterfield and Dart, is Grand Cayman’s most anticipated fun run/walk, attracting hundreds of local and overseas participants from the serious runners to the walkers pushing baby strollers. Group registration is also encouraged - so don’t be shy to grab your co-workers and sign up a whole band of friends!

Jog participants will receive a T-Shirt, race number and have the chance to win one of several fabulous spot prizes awarded on a draw basis. This year’s prizes promise to be better than ever with a range of movie passes, dinners for two, spa services and more! There will be free hats, face stickers and other fun wear for everyone. Complimentary refreshments will be available after the event.

Walk 3 Miles with Esso to Help Fight Diabetes! Esso has partnered with the Cayman Islands Diabetes Association (CIDA) to raise funds that will increase diabetes awareness and provide education to our community as well as improve the lives of diabetics and their families. 

All proceeds from the ESSO 345 Diabetes Walk will go to the CIDA. Free diabetes screening from 8am to 11am at BarCam. Plus you can spin the Esso wheel to win great prizes!

All funds support empowerment programmes for women and youth in the community.
