The 2019 Pan American Games, officially the XVIII Pan American Games, will be held in Lima, Peru from July 26 to August 11, 2019.


The Cayman Islands will be represented by 6 athletes across 4 sports:



  • Athletics;

    • Kemar Hyman - 100m



  • Gymnastics;

    • Raegan Rutty - Floor, Vault, Uneven Bars, Individual All-Around



  • Sailing;

    • Jesse Jackson - Laser Standard



  • Swimming;

    • Brett Fraser - 50m Free, 100m Free, 100m Butterfly

    • John Bodden - 200 Butterfly, 400m Free, 1500m Free

    • Lauren Hew - 50m Free, 100m Free, 200m Free




The Cayman Islands first competed at the Pan American Games held in San Juan, Puerto Rico 1979. 


Since that time we have competed in every edition for a total of 10 Games to date. The 2019 Games will be our 11th. Prior to 2019 Cayman has won 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze within the last 8 years.
