The MS Foundation of the Cayman Islands is proud to present their launch event and fundraiser, Pretty on the Outside.

The event will be held on Saturday, 11 March, 2017 from 6-10pm at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands.

The MS Foundation has been privileged to work along-side Louise & Eleanor, a U.S. based handbag company.

Pretty on the Outside will consist of a fashion show, featuring the handbags and clutches created by Louise & Eleanor. We are honoured to have the bags modeled by the Miss Cayman Islands contestants. Alyssa Christian, chairman of the foundation, along with Louise & Eleanor, have created a clutch specifically for MS, The Hope Bag. This bag will be launched at the end of the fashion show.

While MS effects more women than men, we certainly didn’t want to exclude the men. Working alongside Barry Beaux, a bow tie has been created to match The Hope Bag.

A silent auction of the bags and bow ties, along with a variety of other auction items, will be held following the fashion show.

Why Pretty on the Outside?

Most of the time, you are not able to spot a person with MS. MS is known as an invisible disease. Although most patients look “good” on the outside; the inside of their bodies are a disaster and are a battle field.

Now think about a woman’s handbag. We women are always admiring others’ handbags with envy; but just like a person with MS, from the outside they look immaculate, but once you open them up…it is a force to be reckoned with!

We hope you will join us for a night of cocktails, canapés, fashion and fundraising!

Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.caymangiftcertificates.com/pretty-on-the-outside
