Congratulations to the Spin Ballaz - 2009 Paramount Beach Volleyball Champs !!!

Team Vibe Powa Slam win the $1000 bonus prize in the Paramount High School Volleyball Points Contest, with a whopping 1570 points. The Spin Ballaz weren't too far behind with 1207 points.

The Paramount High School Beach Volleball Finals on Saturday, July 18th, were a huge hit!  Thanks to all of players, coaches and our league sponsors, the Paramount Group for all of their efforts in our opening season. 

The action was fantastic, and a big congratulations to the Spin Ballaz on taking the opening season title, defeating a very strong Goldfield Empire squad lead by team Captain Travis Webb and A. Captain Johann Josephs. Webb commented after the game "I thought the entire tournament was a great experience and fun all around.  It was a disappointing loss, but our team played very well and should be proud". 

Spin Ballaz Captain Maggie Greenwood was ecstatic after her team's victory, and was also presented with the award for most sportsmanlike player of the tournament. Brennan Ebanks, the team's star player was awarded the top male player of the tournament award for his stellar performance over the past few months.  His performance was crucial to the Ballaz taking the league's top honours.

Beach Clean-Up
Thank you to all who came out to help with our beach clean up at Cemetery Beach in West Bay.  It was a very productive morning with well over 20 bags of trash and debris collected.  Thanks to the following for helping to keep Cayman a little cleaner!!!
