2012: In partnership with Special Olympics Cayman Islands, Camana Bay Sport & Recreation was proud the host the 3rd annual Tower Run on Saturday March 3rd 2012. The 2012 version was a 3 mile run around Camana Bay, ending with a climb up and down the Observation Tower.

2012 Review byJerry Harper: Over one hundred participants, including a number of Special Olympics athletes, completed a double circumnavigation of Camana Bay, before ascending and descending the Observation Tower, and then executing a short sprint to the finish on the Crescent.
Marius Acker continued his mastery of of local distance running as he powered around the course in an effort which earned him first-place honours in 18:52. Chadwick Webster turned in an evenly-paced performance to gain the runnerup (and down) spot at 20:14. David Dyer was exactly one minute back with a 21:14 clocking.
For the ladies, Tracey Walker did not walk, but ran, to victory in the female category with a 23:15 posting. Emily Davies followed at 24:51, with Melissa Lim chalking up a 24:58 mark.
