17th October, 31st October and 14th November have been confirmed as the dates for the 2010 Cayman Islands Triathlon build-up series.

Whilst the build-up series serves as an ideal training ground for athletes preparing for Cayman's flagship annual triathlon event - they are also open to any individual or team who may just welcome the opportunity to take part in just 1, 2 or all 3 of these increasing distance 'mini-triathlons' which are being held 6, 4 and 2 weeks before the main event, the Cayman Islands Triathlon, on 28th November.

More details will be published when they become available.

The Cayman Islands TriathlonThe 2009 Build-Up Series:
The 3rd and final build-up race was, for those building up to the Olympic Distance event, a 1k swim, 30k bike and 7.5k run. These distances were halved for those building up to the Sprint Distance making that a 500m swim, 15k bike and 3.75k run.

Build-Up 3 Results.... Olympic Distance first then Sprint Distance
Showing only finishers. A number of brave competitors were restricted on the day by either their bikes or their bodies (or both!) and did not compete the full course.

A glitch in the timing machine resulted in some missing results for the earlier finishers. These were people showing times of 1h5mins and 1h10mins - If you are one of these people and you recorded your own time, please let us know and we'll ammend the records below.
