The Rock n Roll Marathon

Simon, Michele, Matt and Casey from the Cayman Ritz-Carlton are getting ready to endure the San Diego Marathon in an effort to raise much needed funds for the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre and the Cayman Islands Humane Society.

We have lived on Cayman between 1 and 3 years and want to start giving back to the community that we have become a part of. The marathon seemed like an attainable goal to us, so we decided to put our bodies and minds on the line for charities in the Cayman Islands. We hope to cross the finish line in San Diego having made everyone proud of our accomplishments back here on the island.

Find out more about the runners, their charities, how you can help and the fundraising events they have planned at the official Rock 'n Roll Marathon site.

Race Day is May 31st 2009
