The North Sound Club was the host of the 17th Cayman Islands Amateur Championship this past weekend, May 9&10. In almost ideal playing conditions, a field of 74 men, women and juniors contested 36 holes over two days for the Island’s national honours.
After the first day of competition, a couple of competitors distanced themselves from the field with sterling play, but steady shotmaking on day two, saw many others jump onto the leader board and turn all of the divisions into a competitive fight.
