Cayman at the 2009 Island Games, held in Aland

Cayman took part in the 2009 NatWest Island Games, and sent teams across to Aland to compete in the disciplines of Athletics, Basketball, Golf, Shooting, Swimming, Tennis and Volleyball. A total of 25 countries are took part this year.

Our overall medal haul stood at 14: 7 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze as shown below. This placed Cayman 9th out of 25 countries in the medals table.
