Congratulations to Buffers Alley and Western Gaels who won the 2009 Ladies and Mens Gaelic Football leagues and also Finals Day! The League came down to the wire this year with round 10 results dictating who would be winners!
All games were fantastic to watch with some memorable moments and scores. It was absolutely fantastic to see so many of the new comers to the league progressing so well with the game over the course of the season. Congrats to all the Captains, Vice Captains and players on both teams on your achievement. Well done everyone, all captains, vice captains, all players, everyone involved in making the 2009 league so successful.
Finals day was a great event with some terrific battles fought. Repeating their League successes, Buffers Alley were victorious for the Ladies and Western Gaels for the Men. Thanks to all who took part for making the day as entertaining as it was.
