Under 15's Final - CAYMAN ATHLETIC v BODDEN TOWN

The finals of the Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) FA Cup Under-15 and Under-17 will be staged on Sunday May 16 and Monday May 17 respectably, at 5:00pm sharp on the grounds of the TE McField Sports Complex (Annex) in George Town.

Defending Champions Cayman Athletic SC meets Bodden Town FC in the Under-15 game while Elite SC encounters Cayman Athletic in the Under-17. Cayman Athletic SC hammered Seven Miles SC 10-1 and Bodden Town stopped East End 3-2 to reach the Under-15 final. Elite SC turned back Sunset FC 3-0 and Cayman Athletic turned back Academy SC to take their places at the final of the Under 17.

Under 13's - BODDEN TOWN 2 - 1 CAYMAN ATHLETIC

Bodden Town battled to a 2-1 score line over Cayman Athletic SC in extra time to cop the championship of the 2010 Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) Under-13 FA Cup at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.

Cayman Athletic were the defending champions.

Brandon O’Connor placed Cayman Athletic ahead in the third minute. In the 17th minute Leandro Powell made the score 1-1. The score line at regulation time remained at 1-1 after a keenly contested game under hot and humid conditions.

One team had to win, and Referee Gary Whittaker had no option but to signal for extra time. The game became more competitive as both teams battled for the clincher with some serious near misses at goal.

However, in the 89th minute Demitri Hunter settled the score, after making desperate attacks at goal and eluding the Cayman Athletic defense line. This goal was all the Bodden Town team wanted to take the 2010 CIFA Under-13 FA Cup championship.

Bodden Town defeated Tigers FC 3-1 to reach the finals while Cayman Athletic turned back Future SC 2-1 to earn their place at the finals.
