Captains - please review your team's player stats.Â
Only Players that have reached the required 6 games
are eligible for playoffs.
Below are all rule updates are key rules for the Co-Ed Five-A-Side League.  Â
Team Rosters must contain a minimum of 10 and maximum of 18 adult players.Â
A game may begin when a team has 4 (minimum of 2 Women) total players present. No more than 6 players are permitted on the playing surface at any time, and at no time is there permitted to be more Men than Women.Â
Goal Keeper – the keeper can be either a male or female. If the keeper is a male they cannot cross the centre red line.Â
 Of the 5 “outfield”players only 2 men are permitted.Â
A goal scored by a female has a 2 point equivalent. This includes own-goals, and penalty kicks. The leadings scorer chart will only be kept for female players.
Â
Vote-Out Rule – Players are expected to maintain a high level of sportsmanship at all times. If a player is unable to maintain this level, a vote out system is in place to remove such players from the program. The vote-out system is a 3-part process:
Â
Yellow Card Offenses:Â
All yellow card offenses are penalized by a full 2-minute penalty. The offending player will leave the playing surface, and remain on their bench in the “penalty corner”, without substitution. The penalty corner is the 5 feet closest to the D.J. booth.  In the event that a goalkeeper or Female Player receives a caution, the opposing team shall select one Male member of the offending team to serve the 2-minute penalty.  The selected player must have been on the surface when the violation occurred. Selection of the serving player must be accomplished in a timely manner by the opposing team. The goalkeeper and all women are still subject to a 3-caution ejection.
The penalty time will start, when the ball has been touched.
 Red Card Offenses:
Â
If a player receives a red card, play will stop, and the offending player must leave the playing surface, and must subsequently leave the building.Â
Â
All red cards will result in the offending player’s team to play shorthanded for 2-minutes.
Â
All red cards carry a minimum 1-game suspension and a $150 player fine. All suspensions are decided by the Athletic Director, with the input of the game official.Â
