Nurses Association 5k Walk / Run

The 2013 Nurses Association 5k Walk / Run took place on Saturday May 11th starting at 6:30am. 96 people took part, some running, some walking, but all supporting Cayman's Nurses. A new course record was set by Jason Saunders who finished with a time of 17:09.

Circling through lovely and peaceful Camana Bay and sponsored by the Cayman Islands Nursing Association (CINA), check-in will be from 6am between the CNB and Citco Buildings.

Entry fee is US$19.50 (online) for adults - or US$7.50 for children under 14. This includes a T-Shirt, on-course support, post-race snacks, trophies for the top 3 male and female finishers and numerous random spot prizes.

'Last minute' registration will be available on the day from 6am, but we would prefer if you could help the event run as smoothly as possible by registering online (payment can be made online or offline).

2012: The 2012 Nurses Association 5k Walk / Run was held on Saturday 12th May. Top 3 Male finishers were Marius Acker (17m57s), Derek Larner (18m51s) and Sam Ellis (20m58s). Top 3 Female finishers were Beth Schreader (20m11s), Melissa Lim (23m16s) and Gill Comins (23m45s). Top 3 U14 finishers were Vanessa Brooks, Katie Sewell and Jamie Sewell.

2011: 7th May was the date for the 2011 CINA 5K Walk / Run. 133 people crossed the finish line of the 2011 CINA 5k Walk / Run held on the 7th May. First to finish was Marius Acker for the men, and Tiffany Cole for the ladies. The event was a fundraiser for the Lighthouse School and to support the educational betterment of the nursing profession in support of Cayman's health and well-being.
