We are located on Orchard Lane amid a fruit orchard and Power Flower Plant Nursery. Drive to the end of the lane, parking lot is to the right. 

 

From GT: On Crewe Rd, pass Valencia Heights on your left.  Turn left at the Power Flower Nursery sign onto Orchard Lane.

 

From Prospect: Go through the roundabout at Tropical Gardens, continue on Crewe Rd.  Orchard Lane is your 5th right. The street names prior are Tropical Gardens, Palm Dale, Navis Close and Mistral Close.

Yoga/Stretch

Unblock yoga postures using Kit Laughlin’s method of contract/relax technique of stretching.  Class begins with a traditional yoga warm-up emphasizing on breath awareness.  The stretches will be used to assist in opening blocked and tight areas of the body that may be preventing you from going deeper into yoga postures.  You will be amazed at the difference these stretches can make to your YOGA practice.

Daily 5 + 2 + 1

Keeping the pine supple is key to maintaining our health. The central nervous system is housed in the spinal cord and therefore it is extremely important to keep the spine mobile, strong and lubricated.  You will learn 5 daily stretches and strengthening techniques for the muscles that attach to the spine releasing daily stress and tension held in those areas, 2 very effective neck stretches with the + 1 changing weekly for an added bonus stretch for your tool kit.

 

Yamuna ® Body Rolling (YBR)                                 Using 4-9 inch color-coded balls and a guided series of movements, melt away the tension, heal and prevent injuries, re-align, lengthen and tone your core.  The YBR system of movement provides similar therapeutic benefits of a deep tissue massage.

Alignment Flow

A mind-full Vinyasa (breath linked with movement) class focusing on a progressive opening of the physical body as well as the mind and spirit; although this is a flow class, organic, joyous and free; the postures are taught in detail; allowing you to draw your attention inward.  This class is ideal for students seeking to refine and deepen their practice as well as a great way for new students to strengthen the foundation of their practice.

 

Hatha Foundation/On-Going Yoga
 (HA- meaning SUN; THA meaning MOON)

By realigning the body we open the channels for PRANA  (life force) to flow freely.  We will focus on correct alignment of the body within the basic yoga postures.  Each week the focus will be on opening particular area of the body and the asanas (postures) associated with that area.  The poses are held for a period of time and done in isolation to one another assisting in balancing the feminine and masculine energies.

The body has the innate ability to correct itself to it’s personal best when we “tune in” to the signals it sends us.  Unravel unwanted stress and tension in the body through gentle stretches that penetrate deep into your muscles and connective tissues.  Props will be used to support your body in various positions allowing for ease and comfort as your muscles unwind. Learn to work with your breath, clear your mind and empower the body to LET GO to a deep level of relaxation helping to move out of the fight or flight state that we live in into the calming parasympathetic nervous system.

Combining synergy of dance, martial arts, and healing arts adaptable to every level of fitness, every age and every body type, even those with challenging limitations.

Pre Paid Pre registered classes - CI $80 per session

Flow Pass* - CI $90 per session

Drop In - CI $18

*Flow Passes are good for 6 classes and expire 3 months from the day the pass is first used


Class Policies:

  • Because of the intimacy of the studio and the demand for spaces at class, we want to thank you in advance for notifying us as soon as you know if you cannot make it to your pre-registered class; this ensures that students wishing to drop in and on Flow passes have the opportunity to take your space as well as allowing you to make up the class. If you do not let us know by noon on the day of the class you will be missing, you forfeit the class.
  • All make up classes must be taken within the session that it was purchased.
  • For Drop In and Flow Passes, please call, text or email to check availability for the class which you would like to attend.
  • Classes are non-transferable.
