Personal Trainer, Lori Rye

I am a personal trainer for the Cayman Sports team (www.CaymanSports.net), heading the health and fitness aspect of the company. Prior to coming to Cayman in February 2009, I spent 10 years working in Bermuda as a personal trainer. I have a degree in Physical Education and Linguistics, and 2 of the top 5 international personal training certifications. The American Council of Exercise (ACE) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine are my governing bodies.
 
While in Bermuda I discovered a passion in the pre- and post-natal fitness genre. I developed a "Baby Boot Camp" for mothers and tots which was a huge success. It was a positive experience for both the mothers and the babies. Mums were able to socialize and get fit while the children loved being outside and bonding with their moms. 
 
My newest discovery is Aqua Fit, and I have just qualified as a Water Art Instructor. It has really opened the doors to better my clients and improve my workouts with them. The more in tune you are with your body, the better it will respond to the stimulus of exercise, and it is fun too. 
 
With years and practice in the fitness industry, my experience and kind mannerisms make me a perfect fit for any client. Whether your goals are maintenance, fat loss, muscle building, rehabilitation, or just the need to get moving again, I can help. Patience and knowledge are my keys to success, and I will make sure you succeed too! I believe when you commit to getting in shape, you are making an investment in your future. It’s the first step on a path that will bring positive changes to every aspect of your life. The best part is that it’s never too late to get started!  If you can dream it, you can do it! I am a firm believer that if you are committed to something, you can achieve it, whether it be losing 5 pounds or finishing a marathon. I’m here to help!
