Dancing with the Stars? Do you watch each week wishing you could dance like that? Well now you can with Beginners Ballroom and Salsa with Linda Rayner on Monday nights from the 13thSeptember.
6 week courses start Monday 13th September:
Beginners Ballroom (Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep and Tango)Â at 6.00pm
Beginners Salsa at 7.00pm
Over the 6 weeks you will learn the basic steps and some simple variations to allow you to hit the floor with style and grace.
Following on from these courses she will be running a Latin course which covers the Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba and Tango and a course on Swing/Jive/Rock’n’Roll.
Linda was a professional dancer for over 12 years and is an international judge having even worked with Len Goodman from “Dancing with the Stars”. She has been teaching for over 35 years and loves teaching complete novices.
“Two left feet are my specialty. It is so nice to watch people on the first night struggle with the steps then to see them gliding around the floor by week six. It gives me great satisfaction and pride to watch the transformation”.
Every participant is given a handout of all the steps and variations learnt at the completion of each course which cost CI$90.00 per person.
The courses are taught in the large air-conditioned studio with sprung floor at Miss Jackie’s School of Dance in Pasadora Place, Smith Road where Linda also teaches Belly Dancing and children’s Jazz, Freestyle, and Tap.
Private lessons are available for those that prefer the privacy of their own personal instruction or to learn their wedding dance.
So if you want to strut your stuff in style go along to one of Linda’s courses on Mondays September 13th, call 917 3579 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
