The 2013 Fidelity Fun Run Series will take place on Saturday 7th, 14th and 21st September. This page will be updated with more information about the 2013 event when it is available.

The Fidelity Fun Run Series is an annual series of three 2 mile runs held on successive Saturday mornings in September.

Results

In 2012, well over 300 walkers and runners took part in the series. Dominic Corbin won each of the three runs, and the series overall in a total time of 31m 4s, just ahead of Marius Acker, last year's overall winner. Tiffany Cole was the first female finisher of the series with a total time of 40m 46s. Rodger Yeomans aided by his dog won the pet division, and Neal Coleman won the Strollers division.

The 2012 Fidelity Fun Series came to a close Saturday with another large group of more than two hundred participants comprised of the usual mix of performance-focused competitors, fitness enthusiasts, families, persons enjoying an early morning stroll and dedicated dog walkers.

Dominic Corbin made it a clean sweep for overall honours with Marius Acker again claiming the runnerup spot. Although there was not the drama of the previous week's outing, the difference was only two seconds, 10:19 to 10:21. The presence of standouts such as Jason Saunders (10:51) and Neal Ainscow (10:57) on this occasion brought a bit of change to the order of top finishers. Andrew Keast placed fifth in 11:05.

The importance of taking part in all three offerings to gain top overall honours showed in the ladies standings. Laura Knox(12:30) won on Saturday, duplicating her week one victory, while Dee-An Foster (13:20) took second after winning week two. However, series overall top female point scorer was Tiffany Cole (13:27), third this time, but with high placings on all three occasions. Lucy Nicklas nipped Kiara McLaughlin for fourth, both clocking 13:49.

Fidelity Vice President Tom Gammage expressed the satisfaction of the sponsor with the large number of participants and the organization of the series. He thanked the Phoenix Athletic Club, Race Caribbean, Jacques Scott, Fidelity staff, the media and all others who contributed to the conduct of the activity.

Numerous close contests in particular divisions resulted in the determination of final placings only in the final segment of the series.
