WestTel Mites Youth Hockey League (6U)

Graduated Developmental Program - For the first few weeks of the season all practises and "games" will be played on a half-court surface.   This is a new format that we adopted last season.  As the players develop throughout the rink size will gradually be expanded to it's full surface.  

All players receive equal playing time and Parents are encouraged to cheer for all players !!  

Picture Day - Date TO BE DETERMINED (sometime in October !)

Parents - please arrive at least 30-40 minutes prior to your scheduled game time to get individual player pics done.
Coaches - All team photos will take place on the court during the warm-up time.  Please help us stay on time, by making sure your teams are ready with helmets off so the photographers can get the team shots.  

What are pictures used for?  You can purchase prints from Picture This, and all of the individual and team shots are used in the Almanac !  If you cannot attend picture day, simply contact Picture This to reschedule at their location !

Drop-In Sessions - Times TBD

These sessions are great for all players to further develop their skills.  Sessions are normally chaperoned by volunteer parents and coaches, but the players are allowed a lot of freedom to scrimmage or work on various skills.  Often league coaches are present to organize games or assist with skills; but a lot of emphasis is allotted to "free-time". 

Sessions are $10 / player and full gear is always required !
